The joke for today was: it’s finally summer in LA,… but it’s the end of September. Record heat in downtown LA at 113 degrees, breaking the old record of 112 degrees set in June of 1990. There wasn’t even wind blowing on the coast, allowing the temp to reach 105 here on the beaches! The heat did feel good for a change, but I’m glad the day is finally over.
